"The original Knott’s Bear-y Tales dark ride was commissioned by the Knott family and created by Disney Imagineer Rolly Crump, who worked on the Enchanted Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion and It’s a Small World at Disneyland.
"The ride opened in 1975 as the marquee attraction in the newly re-themed Roaring ’20s section of the park. The Kingdom of the Dinosaurs dark ride replaced the original Knott’s Bear-y Tales in 1987."

"The six-part documentary series debuting Nov. 12 on Disney’s new streaming service is a family album of sorts for Iwerks — her grandfather and father play prominent roles in the story being told about the history of Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative arm of the company.
"Her grandfather Ub Iwerks was Walt Disney’s first business partner and helped create Mickey Mouse in 1927. Her father Don Iwerks was a Disney animator and Imagineer who worked on the first Circle-Vision 360 film at Disneyland. And Leslie Iwerks herself has a long history of working on Disney-related projects."

"A class-action lawsuit and backlash from customers has forced a Del Mar company that operates portable charger swapping machines at Disneyland and Disney World to relent on a plan to start charging a recharging fee after promising 'unlimited free swaps.'
"FuelRod will not move forward with a plan to implement a $3 portable charger swap fee at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts until further notice, Disney officials said.
