Disneyland Set to Bring Back Beloved Main Street Electrical Parade This Summer
JUNE 28, 2019, BY TRACY BLOOM
"This is the second time in recent years that the popular parade has been revived at Disneyland; it returned to much fanfare back in January 2017 and ran through August of that year.
The parade initially debuted at Disneyland in 1972 and delighted generations of parkgoers until it went dark in 1996. After, it popped up at various Disney parks around the world, including a stint at Disney California Adventure from 2001 to 2010."

Pixar Pals Parking Structure Opens at Disneyland Resort June 30
by Kevin Rafferty, Jr., External Communications Manager, Disneyland Resort
"Pixar Pals will add more than 5,000 parking spaces to the west side of the Disneyland Resort. With additional entry lanes and a new electronic inventory system, the new parking structure will expedite guest parking and reduce traffic around the resort.
Additionally, we began installing the Magic Way Pedestrian Bridge, which is set to be completed by mid-September. This new bridge will connect visitors from Pixar Pals—over Magic Way—to the rest of the resort, allowing guests the option to stroll through the Downtown Disney District to the theme parks’ Main Entrance. By eliminating the foot traffic crossing the street at Disneyland Drive and Magic Way, the new bridge provides convenience, enhances safety, and improves traffic circulation."

"The massive and complex Rise of the Resistance ride that lies largely hidden behind man-made cliffs and freshly-planted trees at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is designed to slowly reveal itself in one of the longest attraction experiences ever created in Disney history.
The ground-breaking new attraction will combine four ride experiences into one when it finally debuts later this year in the Star Wars lands at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Getting all the pieces of the puzzle to seamlessly flow together has contributed to the delayed opening of the ambitious ride.
